Happy Thanksgiving

We live in the most bountiful and wealthiest nation in the world. Even when times are tough, we still have the best systems in place to assist those out of work or without food and shelter.

More than anything else, America is great because we were founded on the fundamental love of freedom. As our brave men and women are in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan, remember freedom isn't free.

The first Thanksgiving was a celebration of the harvest and gratitude for the blessings bestowed on the Pilgrims. I have so much to be thankful for again this year.

May you continue to have much to be thankful for at Thanksgiving. God Bless America.
